Your home screen is the first thing you see when you unlock your phone. There are lots of ways to make your phone easy to use by customizing your home screen. Get things set up just how you want them by learning about:
To change the image on the background of your home screen, tap and hold an empty area on the screen. Tap Wallpapers and scroll through your image options. Tap an image to see a preview of your new wallpaper.
You can choose from preset images or pick a photo from your gallery.
Make your background something that makes you feel good every time you see it! Some ideas: a photo of your friends, a pet, or your favorite vacation.
Once you choose your image, tap Set Wallpaper in the top right of your screen. You have the option to set the image as your home screen (what you see after unlocking your phone), your lock screen (what you see when your phone is locked), or both.
From your home screen, swipe down to view all the apps on your phone. At the top of the screen, you can search for an app by typing its name. You can also tap the three dots in the top right to sort your apps by:
Your primary shortcuts are already set for apps you’ll be using a lot. These are near the bottom of your screen because that’s the easiest place for your thumb to reach!
To see all your app shortcuts, swipe down from your home screen. To add one of these shortcuts to your home screen, tap and hold the app icon. Drag and drop it wherever you want the shortcut to be.

To add a widget to your home screen, tap and hold an empty area and choose Widgets. Tap and hold the widget you want to add. Drag and drop it where you want it to be.

To move an app shortcut or widget, just tap and hold the icon. Drag and drop it where you want it to be.
Note that your home screen has three panels. To move an app to the next panel, drag it to the edge of your screen and wait a moment. You’ll automatically swipe to the next panel. Drop the app where you want it.
To delete a shortcut or widget, tap and hold the icon. Then tap Remove. Remember, this deletes the shortcut, not the app itself! If you accidentally delete a shortcut you still want on your home screen, you can find it again by swiping down.
Make sure to keep that home screen and the rest of your phone safe. Keep it dry. Don’t put it anywhere where it could get damaged.
